A good example of the 1939 combat knife, overall length 34cm. Excellent blade that has not been abused but minor sharpening marks however the profile is good, with its steel oval cross guard, wooden grips with three rivets, slight burn mark to one side of the grip and what appears to be a chip replaced to the grip. GERMAN WWII 7 X 50 DIENSTGLAS BINOCULARS.
A good set of the 7 x 50 Dienstglas, individually numbered ‘288496’ with the letter ‘M’ below, this may? designate Marine. Full maker’s mark of ‘Leitz of Wetzlar’. One area of approximately 5cm square of the crackle finish missing from the frame. Some paintwork missing from the metallic edges of the frame. Optics generally good but could use a clean. Complete with its original long neck strap. read more
