GERMAN WWII ARMY M.40 SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET.

A good EF65 size M.40 shell that has had a dark grey rough sand finish re-issued with the original army decal untouched. Slight rusting in the area between the air vent and the top of the decal. A beautiful condition blade with all blueing remaining, numbered ‘3674’ with its ribbed Bakelite grips undamaged, rifle retaining button working correctly. Double waffen amt stamped to the upper pommel, waffen amt stamp to the lower ball of the scabbard, which has some slight surface rust but undented. GERMAN WWII COMBAT GAS MASK IN CONTAINER WITH ALL STRAPPING.

A very nice condition gas mask, ink stamped to the filter with the date ‘1940’. All green canvas with good colour. Elasticated head strapping complete, with an owner’s name of ‘Stechel’ with applied label to one of the straps. The container has its spare lenses within its compartment.
