A very scarce bayonet marked ’44 CQH’ match number ‘963’ to the blade and ‘963’ to the scabbard. The blade itself has been re-profiled at the point and all the blueing has been cleaned off. The long blouse trousers in black with twin button pocket flaps. Excellent condition, no moth damage at all, very long legs, 80cm waistband. The Hitler Youth ski trousers are so similar to panzer trousers that a collector wishing to dress a mannequin for a panzer enlisted man in black could easily utilise these trousers.  read more

GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE BELT BUCKLE.

Severe rubbing across the breast of the eagle. Some of the navy gilt remaining to the outer body of the buckle. Stamped ‘R S & S’ to the inside, some of which has been obliterated by the wear of the belt clip. Both double pronged belt fixing systems working. R S & S were the most prolific suppliers of belt buckles to the Kriegsmarine.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY TROPICAL OFFICERS DAK FIELD CAP.

A nice example, size 56, of a 2nd pattern tropical visored field cap with its untouched Bevo woven blue on tan eagle and cockade, with the field adaptation of officers corded style piping to the crown and front scallop of the cap. Excellent blade with all cross grain finish remaining. Maker marked ‘Paul Weyersberg of Solingen’. Complete with its very thin grained blue leather washer.
