A4 size paper, folded twice, some slight foxing to the edges, on the headed paper of Der Reichfuhrer SS. Dated ‘Berlin 7th Oktober 1942’. The letter is to a Sturmbannfuhrer Hans-Hendrik Neumann who was the Head of the Secret Police & SD in Oslo. A rare arm of the service for North Africa, standard DAK field cap. Faint traces of markings evident to the red lining with the maker of ‘Carl Halfer’ with size stamping of ‘56’. A nice quality Gabardine produced Army officers overseas cap with standard silver piping to the crown and front scallop of the cap. GERMAN WWII FIRE SERVICE BAYONET.

Single fullered blade, non maker marked, in lovely condition. Chequered grips all intact. The plating to the upper grip and double S shaped cross guard good with some light spotting visible. Fitted into its original scabbard, which does have some slight paint loss but much intact, with its original leather frog.

The tunic is constructed in NCO’s quality field grey green cloth with stitch-in shoulder boards of an artillery NCO with red wool piping, Company slip-on numbers of ‘33’ to each shoulder board.
