An excellent example of the Iron Cross 1st class, 1939 marked, swastika to the centre. All black finish to the centre good with slight rubbing to the swastika. At least 80% of the finish remaining to the frame with its wide tapering pin, original hook and hinge in its slightly domed presentation case with the silver outline of the Iron Cross to the exterior. A very good example retaining much original silver frosting. Marked number ‘1’ to the exterior of the wide tapering pin, indicating the Company of Deschler & Sohne of Munich. Original hook and hinge, all fitted into its original presentation case that comes without a closing catch, the silk to the upper inner lid good.
