GERMAN WWII BAR TO THE IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS.

A nice condition with many frosted highlights to the 1939 Bar to the Iron Cross. Good matt silver detail with highlighted edges to the 1939 frame, the swastika and the tips of the wings, however slight staining just either side of the central breast of the eagle. GERMAN WWII AFRIKAKORPS ENLISTED MANS BELT AND BUCKLE.

A good set being a long tropical waist belt with makers stamps remaining at the clip end on the webbing. The buckle retains virtually all its original paint finish with minor abrasions. Marked ‘ELS 42’. An original owner’s name, which appears to be ‘Pohl’ hand incised into the leather adjustment tab. A nice condition unknown maker with small ‘w’ just to the left of the upper hinge. Good finish remaining overall. Slight toning to the centre part of the eagle.  read more

GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE EAGLE AND COCKADE CAP SET.

A nice matching in colour set of the eagle and cockade for the Luftwaffe enlisted mans or nco visor cap. Matching in colour. Some minor oxidisation to the cockade. One pin appears to have been replaced. Maker marked ‘FLL’ date ‘37’ on the reverse side of the eagle.  read more
