A nice example of the army crusher cap to an administration official. Although not size stamped we estimate the cap at size 55. The main body of the cap is good with two minor pin hole moth nips to the crown. The insignia is of the correct Bevo woven officers flat wire variety, standard dark green centre band. A nice condition 1st class Iron Cross screw back, nice early production. Maker marked ‘L16’ (Steinhauer & Luck of Ludenscheid) with its uniform location pin. Some slight loss of finish to the swastika, all of the blackened finish to the remainder of the centre complete. read more
