A now very difficult to find helmet being the M.16 style helmet, this originally being an Austrian helmet re-issued in the Third Reich period to a police unit. GERMAN WWII SPANISH CROSS IN SILVER WITHOUT SWORDS.

A very good quality example, non maker marked, this is the rarest of the Spanish Cross series, only 327 have been awarded. The slight bending of the pin indicates that this may have been one of the awarded and worn examples, most others seem to have been boxed for most of their life. A good large size Luftwaffe flieger bluse worn by an Obergefreiter in a flak artillery unit. One minor moth nip to the left hand sleeve, no other moth damage evident, however some areas of patchiness of thinness of nap, one stain to the left hand side of the collar as the tunic is viewed. The finish is virtually gone to the wreath, good silvering to the exploding mine, all of the Schwerin finish remaining to the reverse of the award with its original wide tapering pin, original hook and hinge and a full maker’s mark in raised relief.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY AFRIKA KORPS ANKLE BOOTS.

A scarce pair of 2nd pattern leather and canvas ankle boots are in our opinion second only in rarity to obtaining Luftwaffe paratrooper boots for German footwear. Issued and worn as a pair, all original soles, nails and metal heel cleats are intact.
