GERMAN DUTCH WWII POLICE LANDWACHT CAP BADGE.

Beautiful condition, very nice deep strike. All finish remaining with its original fixing pins, the pins were obviously weak and have been strengthened with the addition of glue at the point where the pins meet the badge itself. The Landwacht was a Dutch paramilitary organisation founded at the time of the German occupation forces in Holland on the 12th November 1943.  read more

A good 56 stamped size crusher cap, the upper body produced in the Gabardine material. Two burn holes on the rear overhang, one slight moth nip to the black waffenfarbe on the upper part of the crown approximately 1cm in length. The 3.5cm medallion in copper bronze colour. Slight fading to the finish on the face side. On the reverse side to the centre the word ‘Butter’ . Fitted into its original box of issue with a slightly toned finish to the title on the exterior of the lid. Minor staining to the upper inner lid material.  read more
