A lovely condition example, virtually all of its bronze finish remaining. Slight traces of the blueing to the central plate still showing. On the reverse side it would appear at first glance that a repair has been affected to the base of the hinge, we believe this to be a coloration from the original manufacture. A very nicely detailed Infantry Assault Badge with all of its finish missing except within the very small grooves of the oak leaf wreath. Faint traces of the last two digits of a makers mark visible just to the right hand side of the upper hinge. Complete with its needle pin and original hook.  read more
