An excellent pair of 1942 dated RZM stamped high boots, with typical studded and wooden pegged soles. These are in a high quality supple black leather and are of a good mannequin fitting size. These boots would have been worn as a field boot by Waffen SS officers or as a duty boot for Algemeine personnel.

The world famous Shuttleworth collection of vintage aircraft being the largest Museum in the world containing the most aircraft of the vintage early flying period in Bedfordshire, named after Richard Shuttleworth, the original wearer of this uniform. The ensemble is completed with the addition of the brocade cross belt with all of its solid silver fittings, all hallmarked dated between 1914 and a918 to the ?16th Lancers?. The silver prickers are missing from one of the fittings, however overall the cross belt and its box are in superb condition. In early WWII he volunteered for the RAF and was killed in a flying accident whilst flying a Fairey Battle.
GERMAN THIRD REICH LATE WAR ARMY OR SS ANKLE BOOTS.
A fantastic pair or extremely late war Army or SS ankle boots, approx UK size 8. The brown leather is supple overall with light scuffs and use, the interior tops are lined with field grey cloth and the exterior leather is profusely marked with an RB number stamping in to the leather over an ink stamp for the size and a date of '45. The boots have the standard issue, added reinfornced leather on the toe as found on all late war examples.
GERMAN THIRD REICH SS OFFICERS SWORD.
A very good condition SS officers sword. The straight single fullered 85 cm blade is in excellent condition, it is non maker marked, which fits beautifully into its scabbard and retains at least 90% of its original paint finish. There are some chips and abrasions, there is also a slight kink in the form of the scabbard about half way along its length but no visible indentations. Good plating remains to the upper and lower scabbard mounts. The throat of the scabbard has the inter-twined SS runic stamping within a square, which has a mirror image stamping on the underside of the beautifully nickel plated hilt. The wood grip is undented with no chips, complete with its original SS runic inset with its correct wire. On opening the upper button to the interior can clearly been seen the cap over the tang retaining nut, this has not been interfered with in any way and is a method of ascertaining whether a sword has been converted from a police officers sword, which do not have this tang retaining cap. A very good example of the rare SS officers sword.
GERMAN ALLACH ELEPHANT.
The Allach factory on the outskirts of Munich employed some of the very best artisans and designers in porcelain of the Third Reich. Many of the subjects produced were very Aryan in their nature and design, there was also a most magnificent collection of animals produced, the elephant being one of the rarest. This elephant measures 10 inches in height from the base of the feet to the top of the trunk and nearly 13 inches in length from the tip of the tusk to the tail. Clearly impressed into the underside of the body is the designer's name 'Professor Karner' with model number '104' followed by the intertwined SS runes with the gothic word 'Allach' below. Accompanying the elephant is a very rare photograph, postcard size, studio portrait, showing a member of the German Armed Forces an enlisted rank, wearing overseas cap and greatcoat on the pedestal to his right is an Allach elephant, it is not the identical pieces, as the form of the trunk is slightly different. It is known that various models of the elephant and of many of the other figures both military, civil and animal have different forms.
IMPERIAL GERMAN MAXIM GUN AND CLASSIC SLED MOUNT.
An extremely good condition Maxim MG08 heavy machine gun, all fitted onto its correct sled mount. The gun, with its original paint to the barrel jacket is complete with its flash hider, all of its correct fittings, rear sights, wooden spade grips and the mounting block for the ZF12 optic sight. The gun is marked 'MG08' on the top cover. To the fuzee cover it is marked DWM 1917 and much original finish remains to the rear end of the gun overall. The gun is numbered '11559'. It is in fully operational de-activated order and comes complete with the U.K. de-activation certificate. The gun is mounted on its ultra rare sled mount. The sled mount is fully operational in all of its functions. The leather covered horse hide pads have split and rotted but all of the horse hair is still intact and some leather intact. Excellent paint finish overall. The two spares boxes are complete with their lids, however the top clamp to hold the gun in place and the locking bar on the traversing section are missing. The gun will display well without these two pieces.
U.S. 1ST PATTERN TANKERS JACKET.
To find a 1st pattern tankers jacket in any condition is extremely hard, this particular example is well worn, however presentable. There are period repairs and there have been some rips to the reverse and one arm. There is the usual thinning to the material and some fraying around the waist band. The waist band is surprisingly good with only one or two moth nips and elasticity to the green wool. The cuffs are in a similar condition, however with some wear to the edges, pulling and general areas of fraying. The zip is a good functioning originally applied Conmar type. There is a very faint service or laundry number, which appears to be 'F/4611'. The blanket lining is good and complete with only a few minor nicks in places. The front patch pockets are good and intact with a little re-tacking to the upper corners. The collar is good and again with only a few frays and nicks and still good and elastic. To the arm is a 4th Armoured patch with what appears to be green merrow edging and there are technical Corporal's stripes to either arm. An exceptionally rare garment to find for the U.S. tank display.
GERMAN THIRD REICH AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION BANNER TOP.
One of the most impressive of the Third Reich banner tops is the large format top of the Reichnahrstand (Agricultural Association). The actual top which is basically a large swastika measuring 8 inches square, with a sword and wheat sheaf to the centre, measures from the very tip of the swastika to the base of the pole top 14 inches. It is nickel plated overall with the wheat sheaf and sword picked out in gilded metal. There is some slight lifting to the plating in places, however generally excellent condition, no damage.
GERMAN SS SPRING PATTERN WINTER PADDED TROUSERS.
An excellent set of the SS winter padded spring pattern reversible to white combat trousers. These trousers are the hardest element to find of the suit, which comprises of the hooded anorak, trousers, a separate hood and separate set of mittens. The condition of these trousers are excellent, there are two small snags to the front right hand leg, one area that has been split and repaired on the right seat area with one or two other minor nicks to the cloth. At the rear of the trousers the suspender sections have been cut off, otherwise all complete with their hidden belt. Pocket flaps all complete with buttons. Minor staining to the interior white padding. Two buttons missing from the front closing flap. It is generally accepted that any of the green spring camouflage items are far harder to obtain than the autumn pattern and of the spring pattern suit the trousers are the hardest to obtain.
GERMAN ARMY GEIBSJAGER M.43 CAP.
An absolutely magnificent and untouched battlefield worn example of the M.43 cap being of a good large size and having all features associated with the army combat issue cap, these include the strips beneath the fold downs for attachment of extra ear protection, the reinforcing below the front scallops, the triangular folded army insignia. The nap of the cloth is worn throughout, however beneath the turn backs it retains most of its nap, this very distinct silhouette is an absolute sign of originality. The liner is of typical mid to late war rayon material and is much grease stained and shows good hard combat use. There is discoloration to the wool on the underside of the peak and the level of wear speaks volumes about the obvious combat nature of the cap. To the side is the zinc oak leaf badge of the Geibsjager. At some time the badge has been slightly caught through the side curtain and there has been some rudimentary repair work carried out, however this is hidden by the overlaying badge and again behind the badge one can clearly see where the nap of the cloth has been protected by the zinc insignia. The stitch work to the entire cap is an excellent contrasting off white colour. A very nice combat worn specimen.
