BRITISH WWI HIGHLAND LIGHT INFANTRY OFFICERS DATED KILT.

A lovely condition officers quality kilt, kilts are very susceptible to moth damage, this has no damage whatsoever, highest quality tartan with its original label stitched to the waistband, unusually produced in Philadelphia USA ‘John Woodhouse (or Woodside) 1916’. possibly being retailed in Toronto Canada Before the date of 1916 would appear to be the letters ‘DSO’.  read more

BRITISH WWII BRITISH TANK REGIMENT PHOTO PORTRAIT.

An early large format photograph of a tank regiment soldier measuring 23cm x 30cm laid onto hard card, the soldier is wearing the very large black beret, 37 pattern battledress. GALWAY MILITIA OFFICERS COATEE.

An exceedingly rare Irish Militia coatee dated from the period 1820 to approximately 1850. A very slightly mismatched set of Panzer Leutnant’s shoulder boards and collar patches, both shoulder boards are stitch-in style, there is a very slightly shade difference with the panzer pink wool underlay to each board. GERMAN WWII REICHMARINE BUCKLE.

A very scarce buckle for the German Navy that existed between 1920 and 1935, the standard steel buckle with ‘GOTT MIT UNS’ circlet with the eagle of the Weimar Republic to the centre. Attached to the buckle that has a good majority of green paint finish remaining is its original leather tab, which is profusely maker marked, heavily dated ‘1927’ with the ‘M’ over anchor marine marking.  read more
