GERMAN WWII FELDGENDARMERIE GORGET.

A very nice example of the all steel Feldgendarmerie gorget. Excellent finish to the half moon back plate with some light surface rusting just above the letter ‘L’. All the original luminous paint remaining to the buttons, the eagle and the Feldgendarmerie lettering. The chain is full length. The Feldgendarmerie gorgets came with two types of backings, a field grey wool backing and a cardboard backing, this is the cardboard backing variety and has lost some of its backing material.
