JAPANESE WWII KAMIKAZE WAKIZASHI SWORD.

A standard but lovely quality bladed Wakizashi in very fine polish with a good hamon on both sides of the blade. The blade measures 42.5cm. Pierced iron tsuba. wrapping to the grip excellent with the ray skin below, undamaged. Standard brass hilt cap. Fitted into its military style wooden scabbard, with its leather combat cover, indicating use by Kamikaze pilots. The remains of a surrender label still remaining to the leather of the scabbard. The hilt also has its correct scabbard retaining leather belt with its male/female connector, which when fitted to the male stud on the scabbard stops the scabbard from separating from the sword.
