GERMAN WWII ARMY PANZER GRENADIER NCO/ENLISTED MANS VISOR CAP.

A rare colour for the army being the Panzer Grenadiers. The cap is size stamped ‘56’ to the interior sweatband with a retailers ink stamp in Berlin and the clear date of ‘1942’. The cap is constructed in the standard ribbed material, semi saddle shape, dark green centre band, apple green waffenfarbe to the crown and the upper and lower sections of the dark green centre band. Some moth damage to the waffenfarbe itself at the rear of the cap, also one moth hole on the rear overhang. We have tried our best to illustrate this moth damage to our web images. Fitted with a matching set of stamped national eagle and cockade, double buckle chinstrap, fibre peak with some light congealing. The interior liner is in mid brown in excellent condition with wear use obvious. The inner lining is in a gold satin with the very faint makers mark of ‘Pekuros’. The cap never had an interior celluloid lozenge.
