GERMAN WWII TENO OFFICERS DAGGER.
An excellent example of the rare Teno officers dagger having the very low number of ‘0412’ stamped into the upper throat of the scabbard and also stamped to the top of the blade underneath the Teno insignia within the swastika of the cross guard. The blade is absolutely superb, all cross grain finish remaining with its Teno style eagle with each side having ‘Ges Gesch’. Below is the original Eickhorn etched trademark. The deep orange grip absolutely undamaged, some of the original black patination still lays within the lower arms of the eagle and cross guard and the Teno cogwheel in the upper pommel on both sides. A good amount of the original black patination also remains on the protected parts of the scabbard, which itself is totally undamaged in any form. The original screw holding the throat is in place and with the final addition of the short model silver portapee knot. A very fine example of this rare dagger.
