A very nice bright skull, size approximately 55 or 56. The front and rear peaks strongly attached to the main body. The skull itself virtually mint bright. The spike removable, being a very tall example. The gilt matching overall. Correct domed chin scales. Prussian national and officers cockades. To the interior the mid tan leather sweatband is all complete, it has broken away slightly from the main body close to the national rosette. The inner silk lining is present but loose from its mountings. On the inner rear peak the red lining is slightly bubbled. The green lining to the front peak is good, strong and level. The front plate is the typical officers plate with cut out crown. Two of the decorative stars on the circular spike base appears to have been replaced, two of the stars are with washers and nuts, two are with split pins.
