BRITISH WWII TUNISIAN USED BRITISH PARATROOPER HELMET.
A fabulous example of a non fibre rimmed para helmet, painted in North African tan. The helmet is with its original leather straps, which are of the rivetted type, its cream Sorbo rubber, its inner cradle and head cushion. The original wearer has cut the leather section of the sweatband out and we understand this was quite a common occurrence. Various names have been applied to the inner part of the liner band. This helmet came from the World famous collection of David Power that was recently dispersed by an action in American, a label attached that he acquired this helmet in 1974, it is extremely rare to get any paratrooper items used in Tunisia in 1943.
