BRITISH WWII PARATROOPER TRAINING HELMET.

A very rare piece of headdress being the canvas and Sorbo rubber training helmet with all of its earpieces and chin ties. This has come out of a world famous collection in the United States and purchased into that collection in 1980. The exterior canvas is excellent, traces to the front of a number that has been partly erased, this is quite common amongst the training helmets. The Sorbo rubber has solidified to the interior and black residue is loose within the helmet. In the early 1990’s a quantity of reproduction training helmets were produced in Great Britain, please do not confuse those with this totally original example. In 50 years of trading we have only ever had two of these training helmets.
