GERMAN WWII EARLY PRE WAR MEDICAL BRANCH LUFTWAFFE ENLISTED MANS OVERSEAS CAP.

A very well service used Luftwaffe enlisted mans overseas cap being of pre war construction with the mid blue twisted cord piping of the Luftwaffe Medical Service around the scallop of the cap. The nap is very thin overall, underneath the side curtains the nap is still thick and evident. The stitching along the side scallop is very bright indicating that it has faded over the years and in some places has rotted. Complete with its correct enlisted mans eagle and Luftwaffe embroidered cockade. To the interior the light tan brushed cotton lining is without any markings. The top envelope has been sewn together as was the fashion at the time, normally we see them either sewn together or pinned together with safety pins.
