GERMAN WWII CAMOUFLAGED M.35 ARMY COMBAT HELMET.

A shell size SE62 that has been over-camouflaged with heavy duty paint and mixed with sand. Areas of the original camouflage have worn away as can be seen by our web images. There is no evidence of national or army decals ever being fitted. The areas which have lost the camouflage shows the original apple green. The interior bowl still showing all its apple green finish with its original liner, which has a name ‘Gerhardt’ hand applied, with its original drawstring. The strap is all complete however the short section has split in the area where it is attached to its closure rivet. The point of the strap is very faintly maker marked and clearly dated ‘1939’. The liner is the correct original M.35 aluminium liner band and square edged strap clips. A super camouflage helmet.
