GERMAN WWII SS OFFICER WALTER REDER SIGNATURE.

Walter Reder, a member of the SS Totenkopf Division, Austrian citizen, extradited to Italy in 1948 to stand trial for war crimes, sentenced to life imprisonment and was paroled in 1985. An original envelope carrying Walter Reder’s hand signature on the reverse, the envelope address to ‘Major Walter Reder’ at the Italian Military Prison he was being held in, the letter was written by a Austrian citizen in Salzberg asking for Walter Reder’s signature, which he duly did and posted the envelope back to Salzberg.
