GERMAN WWII ARMY INFANTRY OFFICERS VISOR CAP.
An unusual cap originally, in our opinion, issued as an enlisted ranks pre war cap constructed in enlisted ranks quality material Teller Form, some minor moth tracking and moth holes. Later converted for officer use by the addition of a set of officers cap cords. Metallic insignia. The interior lining is the classic russet brown material of the pre war period with a narrow tan leather sweatband, which has been glue repaired. Size ‘55’ stamped into the upper inner crown of the russet lining. A collectors old label attached, which reads ‘ARMY CAP FROM STOPFORD, JERSEY OCCUPATION 40-45.’
