BRITISH WWII COLT 1911 MILLS PRODUCED BRITISH HOLSTER.

A service worn holster for the American supplied Colt 1911 semi automatic pistol. At the outbreak of WWII Britain was severely short of weapons of all sizes and managed to precure a quantity of American produced Colot 1911 semi automatic pistols. Many were further used by British Special Forces. This holster has seen service, a few minor stains, closure stud still working. Unidentified ink markings inside the flap of the holster.
