GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS PANZER OVERSEAS CAP.

A very nice example of a Waffen SS black boat shaped overseas cap. A superb untouched example. The nap is thin in places to the exposed parts of the cap, on pulling down the side curtains the original nap of the cloth can be seen. The stitching around the boat shape and the base of the cap has rotted in places. There is no moth anywhere. On opening the upper envelope the nap of the cloth again excellent, as it has been protected, with its completely original Bevo woven Waffen SS skull and eagle. To the interior the dark grey bordering on black heavy duty cotton lining, no visible markings, on test we have approximated the size at 54 or 55.
