JAPANESE WWII NAVAL COMBAT HELMET.

The navy helmet issued to Japanese seamen and marines is far more difficult to obtain than the army issued helmet. This example retains at least 95% of its original Japanese brown paint finish with its original badge. Grey kanji letters to the left hand side of the helmet. Complete with its inner lining and chinstraps, the straps are blood stained indicating that this helmet was taken off a dead body. The three pad liner is all complete, however the interior lining is extremely frail and care has to be taken with handling. A wonderful battlefield pick-up.
