AUSTRIAN WWI BERNDORFER HELMET.

A good example of the scarce to find Austrian Berndorfer helmet of WWI, these are extremely hard helmets to find, especially complete, many shells turn up but to find a complete example is difficult. Much of the original Austrian brown still visible with a mixture of a hue of green. On the rear of the shell is the white painted square of the Austrian Stormtroopers for night detection. Complete with its three pad lining, its steel inner liner band, drawstring and original Austrian webbing, leather and metal chinstrap system. Complete with its air vent to the crown.
