A pair of photograph albums containing a total of 215 well exposed images of a British Army unit, possibly the Royal Army Service Corps in Palestine and Egypt. one of the covers is commercially produced with desert scenes of camels and images of Pharaohs. The second album having a metal plate of an outline of Jerusalem. Many of the images are of historic cities such as Jerusalem and Haifa, the views inside the cities. All of the images in both albums are fully annotated. Images of the Jordon valley at Bethlehem. Group photograph of all the personnel of the unit together. Photographs while on leave in Alexandria. Most of the album is taken up with, as described, street scenes and cites, however the very few images of the El Alamein battlefield immediately after the war are stunning.
