BRITISH WWII RAF OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A good condition service worn RAF officers visor cap. Non size stamped but on test possibly 56 or 57. No moth damage anywhere to the body of the cap, the black wool centre band all in place, some slight snags to the material at the rear of the cap. Fitted with its standard thin black narrow chinstrap with cloth covered side buttons. The RAF officers badge has suffered slightly from oxidisation. To the interior the mid tan leather sweatband is complete. The upper inner crown lining in the multiple stitched pattern with the makers label of ‘Gieves Limited, 21 Old Bond Street, London’ with faint traces of the original owner’s name, which we are afraid is now indecipherable.
