GERMAN WWII FELDGENDARMERIE (FIELD POLICE) PARADE TUNIC.

A fabulous condition upper medium size parade tunic with the colour piping of the Field Police Units in orange. The tunic has one tiny moth nip below the officers breast eagle, the quality of the material is itself superb. Standard parade tunic configuration, pocketless, army officers wire woven on green breast eagle fitted. All of the piped colours and the colour backing for the heavily woven collar patches in orange. NCO lace to the collar and to the shoulder boards, also to the cuff edges. The tunic’s inner collar is still in place. A very nice silk woven label, gold on blue, of the tailoring house in the Adolf Hitler Strasse No.8 in Wurzburg, the name of the tailor appears to be ‘Wilhelm Kreuter’. The identical canvas back on white label is fitted to the interior pocket, it does not appear that a name has ever been applied to this label.
