BRITISH WWII ROYAL NAVAL ADMIRALS VISOR CAP.

A very nice condition scarce rank of cap being for a full admiral in the Royal Navy in WWII. The cap is of a large size, possibly 59 or 60, it is a standard blue constructed top cap with a removable white top. Standard wool centre band, which is fitted with the beautifully produced gold bullion wire Royal Naval officers badge with the metallic fouled anchor. Standard narrow strap with two rows of bullion weave lace to the front peak. To the interior multi circular stitched, the sweatband is good with one small 3cm section missing out of the rear, probably eaten by a rodent. Faint remains of the original manufacturer’s gilt stamping to the crown area, but unfortunately too indistinct to decipher.
