BRITISH WWI BRITISH MADE ARTILLERY LUGER HOLSTER.
An extremely rare holster, made in Gret Britain for a German captured artillery Luger. The holster has seen wear, a small hole in the leather at the top of the holster, probably caused by the large toggle at the upper part of the body of the Luger, the other hole at the very top of the flap is probably caused by the relevant sharpness at the upper part of the artillery Luger. Complete with its Sam Browne type belt loop on the reverse side and two extra brass studs possibly for another fixing on the Sam Browne equipment. Inside the flap of the holster is a pouch for the stripping tool of the Luger. A rare and unusual item. Faintly maker marked at the top of the holster ‘E.M & B’.
