A rare piece of headdress for the German Army of WWII being an approximately size 56 or 57 high quality grained material constructed Army Panzer Generals overseas cap. No moth damage to anywhere on the cap. Gold bullion wire waffenfarbe to the upper envelope and the front scallop, fitted with a silver over green pre 1943 national eagle for a General with the bullion wire cockade, inverted V panzer pink waffenfarbe. This cap has been privately tailored with the side profile of the cap slightly different than normally encountered with German Army officers overseas caps. Brown satin lining, no markings with its forehead quarter size leather sweatband.
