GERMAN WWII ARMY GENERAL’S M.43 CAP.

A very nice condition high quality Melton material constructed Army General’s M.43 cap. Gold bullion waffenfarbe around the crown. The cap eagle is the post 1943 Bevo gold on green variety, the cockade below is of bullion wire with the outer ring being in gold instead of silver. Two gold buttons. No moth damage anywhere on the cap. The leather sweatband has split in three places, showing considerable wear use. To the interior green satin lining with an oval shaped manufacturer’s label of ‘Wehrmeier of Braunscweig’.
