GERMAN WWII PROPAGANDA COMPANY DOUBLE EREL MARKED OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

Possibly the rarest of all the army colours waffenfarbe, this is a 100% definite Propaganda Company piped cap and not a faded transport cap, these can be confusing sometimes. The cap is of approximately size 56 or 57, constructed in the soft Melton material. There is no indication of moth anywhere on the cap. The cap is fitted with the light grey ( Hellgrau ) piping to the crown and to the upper and lower sections of the dark green centre band. Stamped aluminium national eagle with matching aluminium cockade with the central cockade being of the vented type, high saddle shape, standard officers cap cords. To the interior the sweatband is of the ersatz variety, the ‘EREL’ markings to the sweatband still good and visible in silver block. The interior satin lining is undamaged, the central lozenge with the ‘EREL’ trademark and the word ‘SONDERKLASSE EXTRA’ still visible. The lozenge itself is completely undamaged. An ultra rare cap.
