GERMAN WWII ARMY MEDICAL NCO/ENLISTED MAN VISOR CAP.

A good condition well service worn, large size, possibly 57 or 58 army medical mans or nco visor cap. Officer quality construction with blue piping, dark green centre band, matching stamped aluminium national eagle and cockade. Standard chinstrap with oval buckles and black side buttons. No moth damage to the main body of the cap, one moth hole to the rear of the dark green centre band. To the interior the grey leather sweatband is all intact with evidence of wear use, also quite severe wear use staining to the interior brushed cotton lining, which originally was in light grey but has faded. A virtually complete large size centre celluloid lozenge is fitted with two cracks to the celluloid with a faint image of an original retailers or manufacturers mark next to the celluloid but too difficult to read.
