GERMAN WWII ARMY PANZER LEUTNANTS PIPED FIELD SERVICE TUNIC.

A very impressive upper medium size 1936 pattern field grey tunic, the upper pockets with scalloped flaps and pleats, the lower pockets identical but of course larger. No moth anywhere on the tunic. Beautifully pink piped underneath the leutnants stitch-in shoulder boards to the edge of the green collar, the backing of the piped field service style collar patches and the front two skirts of the tunic and the upper cuff edges. Fitted with a very nice high quality army officers bullion wire breast eagle. All original buttons untouched. A short five section medal ribbon bar, which includes the Armed Forces Long Service Medal, the remaining four are all WWI awards. Loops to the upper right hand breast for three separate awards. The tailors label in silk of ‘Kohler & Schluz of Leipzig’ to the upper inner collar area and two inside pockets with the canvas label of the same manufacturer with the name of the owner and the date ‘8th February 1936’.
