GERMAN WWII MUNICIPAL POLICE ENLISTED RANK OR NCO WHITE TOP VISOR CAP.

Another exceedingly rare Police cap, non size stamped but on test possibly 55 or 56. The unusual feature about this cap is that the white top is fixed , any caps from the Third Reich with fixed white tops instead of the removable versions has to be considered very rare. The white top in very nice clean condition, brown wool centre band, green waffenfarbe to the upper and lower sections of the brown centre band. The front visor with the double ribbed edging similar to Luftwaffe officers caps. Fitted with an enlisted ranks quality cockade and enlisted ranks one-piece stamped Police eagle, standard leather strap with black side buttons and double buckle leather strap. To the interior the brown leather sweatband all complete showing minor wear use, the remainder of the cap is lined in a green rayon with an undamaged non titled centre celluloid lozenge. No moth damage to any wool part of the cap. A very fine and rare example.
