BRITISH WWII WARTIME FLYING BOOTS.

A pair of black leather flying boots, sheepskin lined. Identical construction in terms of stippled leather and foot form, to the scarce 1936 pattern type flying boots, the slight difference being that there is an 11cm zip on the outside of each boot, the zip is the identical pattern as used on the RAF flying jackets. To the interior of each boot there is an ‘Oswald Bailey Limited, Birmingham’ makers label plus a size label of ‘9’. There are ideal to complete an RAF mannequin without going to the expense of the 1936 type boots.
