GERMAN WWII IRON CROSS 1st CLASS CASED.

A very clean example of a number 20 stamped Iron Cross first class, outer frame bright, the inner core retaining all of its original black finish, on the reverse side complete with its original pin hook and hinge, under the hinge is stamped the number 20 which is the company of Zimmerman, both the German crosses and the Iron Crosses produced by this company always had a brighter pin than the remainder of the award on the reverse side, all fitted into its original presentation case which has the bright silver outline of the Iron Cross highlighted to the centre of the outer lid, its sprung loaded closure catch working correctly.
