The nickel plating to the cross guard and upper pommel virtually perfect, some slight thinness on the lower face side of the upper pommel where rubbed by the hilt retaining strap. Composition grips undamaged with its excellent condition Hitler Youth diamond in red, white and black enamels. Scabbard retaining virtually all of its original paint finish with age lines showing through with a strong and firm blade leather belt loop and a male/female fully functioning pop stud system to the hilt securing strap.
