GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET WITH MANOEUVRE BAND FITTED.

A very nice condition size SE60 M.40 shell retaining all its original Luftwaffe blue grey paint finish with a complete undamaged Luftwaffe eagle. The outer shell is covered with the reverse coloured yellow and red manoeuvre band. All of the three cotton clips that secures the band to the helmet are in place. Complete with its original untouched condition non maker marked leather strap. The interior liner with all of its tongues intact, two of them congealed, one tongue clearly size stamped ‘53’. Drawstring missing. Batch number ‘4511’ stamped to the inner rear skirt. It is difficult to obtain German helmets of WWII in this size.
