Originally issued as an apple green M35 double decal helmet, under the 1940 regulations the national tricolour decal was removed, a large amount of the early apple green finish remains with losses, which can be seen on our web site images. Shrapnel damage to the front visor. The three liner retaining rivets head have lost the majority of their paint finish, which flakes off the aluminium heads. The decal is nice and clear with one abrasion to the lower right hand wing. Complete with its original aluminium banded liner, its full liner, which has not lost any tongues and its original drawstring, with its original chinstrap, which is maker marked.
