GERMAN WWI ENTRENCHING TOOL.

A very nice condition 1895 dated entrenching tool, which is marked ‘K.III’ with twin letters ‘LM’. A drilled hole through one part of the tool head. Excellent wood haft. Fitted into its original German brown leather entrenching tool cover, of which the stitching is all strong, one of the loops appears to have had a period replacement with re-issue marks of ‘SA’ within a rectangle to the Finnish Forces.
