Nice saddle shaped cap, complete free of any moth holes, a minor area of moth tracking to the nap only on the crown. Grey piping to the upper edge of the cap also on the top and bottom of the grey centre band. Untouched enamels to the Red Cross badge. Nice frosted finish to the acorns on the national wreath, with its correct leather strap. The interior has an unmarked and undamaged centre celluloid lozenge. Size stamped to the upper inner russet brown waterproof lining ‘56’ with its original sweatband showing minor use in the forehead area and one of the two initial letters of the owner pinned to the sweatband. This cap located in its original travelling box with the maker of ‘Fritz App’ print blocked to the lid.
