A beautiful condition museum quality light tan slouch hat worn by an officer in the Queen’s Own Royal Glasgow Imperial Yeomanry. Some age foxing to the main body, multiple air vents to the crown with its original pagri. The brass title ‘QORGIY’. Nicely blue lined to the interior with a gilt ‘Aristos, London’ maker’s label gold blocked to the upper inner crown with its very delicate period chinstrap. The original size label ‘7’ is cellotaped to the back of the sweatband is complete, also stamped to the sweatband ‘Fur Finish, English Made’ with the ‘Aristos London’ logo.
