GERMAN WWII ARMY PARADE LONG BAYONET BY CARL JULIUS KREBS.
From a collection originally acquired in the Channel Islands of Great Britain, all were purchased in the 1970’s. Excellent single fullered blade, heavily stamped ‘Carl Julius Krebs Solingen’ close to the cross guard, with its original leather washer, this is slotted for a bayonet with the sprung loaded rifle fixing system still working correctly. Plating slightly dull to the hilt. Undamaged chequered grips. Fitted into its original scabbard, which retains a good degree of its original black painted finish mainly in the area where it is protected by a leather frog, to the lower part the black finish is thin. The sale of Knives, other Edged Weapons and Firearms are restricted to those aged over 18. Verification of age is required before purchase is concluded, this will include providing a scan of photo ID including your address and in some cases may require video verification by FaceTime or WhatsApp video, at Regimentals discretion, until formal laws on this requirement are enforced in the UK.
