GERMAN WWII NSKK M33 MANS DAGGER.

From a collection originally acquired in the Channel Islands of Great Britain, all were purchased in the 1970’s. The blade has nice bright finish, much original cross grain finish remaining. An attempt at sharpening the upper side of the blade has been attempted at one stage, which has slightly adjusted its profile. The blade is full length, good deep Ulles Fur Deutschland motto. Slight staining on the reverse side with the maker mark of ‘RZM M7/ 85’ which is the Company of Arthur Evertz. Although this is a later plated dagger the fittings appear to be of nice early vintage. SA Group marked ‘WF’ for Westfalia on the lower reverse side of the cross guard. Wood grip excellent. Undamaged SA inset. Nice quality nickel national eagle. Some marks to the upper nut where it appears to have been taken apart at one stage with pliers. Plated fittings to the scabbard, which are in excellent condition, the ball on the lower scabbard mount undamaged, all of the screws intact without the heads being turned. The black painted finish to the scabbard for the NSKK identification virtually all complete, just minor abrasions.
