GERMAN WWII SA MODEL M.33 MANS DAGGER.

From a collection originally acquired in the Channel Islands of Great Britain, all were purchased in the 1970’s. A very nice example of an RZM bladed SA mans dagger, the blade retaining all its original cross grain finish, minor spotting close to the letter ‘D’ in Deutschland. All of the original grey patinated finish still within the lower field of the Ulles Fur Deutschland logo. Marked ‘RZM M7/49’ which is the manufacture of Friedrich Herder of Solingen. Both grip mounts have slight spotting to the plating, which is fairly normal for these later RZM daggers. The grip excellent, no damage to the SA inset, nice quality national eagle. Minor indentations to the grip wood. Fitted into its good condition scabbard, the main body retaining virtually all of the brown painted finish with minor abrasions. All of the plating to the upper and lower scabbard mount excellent with all screws complete without their heads being turned. The ball at the base of the scabbard has a very minor indentation. The dagger is complete with its original leather strap and its sprung loaded belt clip. At some period in its life the strap has lost its small retaining loop.
