GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE TROPHELM.

An unusual configuration for the Kriegsmarine being a standard army issue trophelm that has been fitted with the borderless navy insignia metallic decals, also a variation chinstrap. The national tri-colour has been touched in by a collector. The gold metallic decal is untouched. The edge trim is frail in places. The chinstrap is of a brown variation instead of the normal olive green. Ther interior liner is all complete. In our opinion the decals are totally original to the helmet, there are no extra holes where the pins have been pierced in a separate position. One split to the interior red hard felt liner shell. One 6cm length edge trim missing and another part missing to the length of 2cm.
